Analytics is a great way to see where your traffic is coming from, how visitors got to your website (Google, Bing, Yelp, etc.), and what keywords are being used to find your website. This vital information can be used to target new users based on the data Analytics provides. For example, if many of your visitors are using a mobile device to view your website, it will be important to make sure your site is mobile optimized, which is a feature offered by Market Apartments.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is also important as Property Managers can see how their website performs in organic searches. This information is broken down to clicks, impressions, click-through-rate (CTR) and position. As you can imagine, clicks refer to the number of clicks received from a Google search results page which lead to your website. Impressions refer to the number of times that your website content has appeared in Google search results and could have been viewed by a potential renter. Click-through-rate is calculated by the ratio of clicks to impressions (clicks divided by impressions). This metric tells you the percentage of visitors your website received out of the total number who could have viewed your content in a Google search. Position refers to the page rank based on the content of your website.
The Conversions tab allows Property Managers and Leasing Consultants to view the contact information forms that visitors sign when on your website. These are your leads! Make sure to check this tab often!
The Leases tab allows you to view the online visitors that have now signed leases. This tool is helpful because it is an indication of how well your website and marketing campaigns are working. Although it is important to remember not ALL online leads will fill out an online application. Many will view your website first, and sign in person later.
The Specials tab is a great tool for Leasing Agents to create various specials such as Move-In specials for a select time or Move-In specials by unit or floor plan type. To get started, select the Specials tab and click on the pencil icon to create your special. Keep in mind, it is important to set an expiration date for your specific special as you’ll want to create a sense of urgency and may also forget to remove your special over time.
Pet Fees can now be managed and updated by Property Managers and Leasing Agents. Many prospects have pets and like to know what their pet fees will be before they decide on an apartment. Market Apartments has conveniently added a pet fee section that provides both the deposit and monthly pet fee on the website. Prices are set to a default price of $300.00 for the deposit fee and a $40.00 monthly fee for pet rent. These prices can be updated by clicking the Pet Fee tab and editing by selecting the name of the pet (dog, cat, bird etc.)
