Content Creator
Market Apartments is seeking a creative, SEO content writer to lead the charge in creating compelling content for apartment websites. This position requires the ability to take writing specifications (topic, keyword focus, number of words, etc.) and efficiently generate coherent, original content. Demonstrated expertise in conception, writing, and editing is a must. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp things quickly, offer valuable insights, and pack a mean punch with a pencil (or keyboard), we’d love to hear back from you.
As you gain experience, the position will grow into working with clients that require a full search engine optimization setup on their website from top to bottom, along with on-going SEO compliance. Eventual responsibilities will also include consulting with clients for updates and making recommendations based on the data we report on a regular basis.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
- Collaborate with the team on marketing projects.
- Edit and proofread copy as needed.
- Provide content using SEO principles to maximize our content’s reach.
- Brainstorm creative concepts and copy ideas with other members of the marketing team.
- Manage timelines for the creation, and execution of marketing content including blogs, email, press releases, events, advertising, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Superb writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Experience applying SEO principles in the digital space.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Interest in e-commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role. Strong research skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related program.
