I want to comment on the young lady who works for you on the weekend, she is a very nice person, she was very understanding to what I had to talk to her about, her name is Charlie, lovely young lady, I felt very comfortable talking to her, glad she works for La Ventana.
Great Place To Live
This is a great community. The buildings and common areas are well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Any time I have a question or an issue, it gets answered or solved in a timely manner. All the amenities are great - but I really enjoy the grilling and lounge area by the pool which perfect for a barbecue, relaxing, and watching the game.
Best location & great maintenance crew
The complex is super quiet and safe (it feels like a college campus), and my unit has a balcony facing these absolutely gorgeous mountains. Big shouts to Ray and Isaiah on maintenance; these two are so nice and go out of their way to go the extra mile. Four stars because the transition to new management over the summer was a little bumpy, but it seems like the front office is functioning well now. I'll definitely be living here for awhile.
The Staff is awesome
I do not write many reviews, but this time I had to. Ray and Isaiah PROMPTLY came out to my apartment only minutes after receiving my phone call about a broken heater. Within a few hours AND on the first busy snow day of the year, they had diagnosed the problem and fully coordinated its repair. I was shocked at how professionally, efficiently, and rapidly they served me and many others that day at La Ventana. Also, shout out to Asst Manager Angela Armijo who helped streamline the coordination, as well! They are a great team here. Thank you!

Angela is Soo helpful & informative she tried to get me & into one of these apartment units. But unfortunately because they do not accept section 8 and their prices are so high we were unable to move here. However Angela is a dedicated & hardworking employee. Thank u for your help Angela!

Angela and Ray are the absolute BEST!! I lived at La Ventana for 1 1/2 years. I must say that the dynamic duo of Angela in the Office and Ray heading up maintenance cannot be beat! These two are absolutely terrific individuals, great at their jobs and truly amazing!! Residents at La Ventana could not ask for a better team then Angela and Ray!

The staff in the front office are very pleasant to interact with and are always willing to answer any questions and are determined to resolve all issues. The maintenance crew deserves recognition as well. Ray responded to a maintenance request minutes after it was submitted. He is very talented and knowledgeable, and was very respectful while working in the apartment. The expeditious coordination between the office and maintenance staff is greatly appreciated. Exceptional employee-Charley
Charley is amazing. On 1/24 I went by the office hoping to see a maintenance tech to help me with a clogged toilet. Charley was there and since it was not an emergency situation, just a horrible inconvenience....she agreed to help me unclog my toilet. Not only did she unclog it, she also replaced the float that was on the verge of breaking. I truly appreciate her help!! She provided excellent customer service and is also an amazing plumber!! Thank you Charley!
Lots of reasons to be happy
I have lived at La Ventana since late 2013 and have been glad to be here. In a large apartment complex, maintenance and office staff are one of the most important factors since it is inevitable that a problem will arise. It is easy to submit a maintenance request online and maintenance staff are quick to take care of it. Office staff is friendly and responsive and very helpful in taking care of questions, problems, and any business matters. It has been almost a year now that the coronavirus has upended what used to be normal life and I have been amazed at how the staff somehow manages to keep everything functioning properly when they deal with so many issues. My two-bedroom unit is the best layout I've ever seen: remarkably open, lots of natural light, plenty of ways to arrange your furniture. The apartment grounds are attractive, spacious, and well-cared for. Depending on the apartment location, you may have a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains. Sunsets can be wondrous. If you are a hiker, you will want to explore. For me, the location could not be better because trails on the lower flanks begin just minutes from the apartments. Runners, walkers, and cyclists all have much to enjoy. A useful shopping center is across the street: not too big, not too small. You may even see a roadrunner darting around the apartment grounds!
Office Staff
I have been looking for an upscale property to downsize from my current house that I recently put on the market. After looking at 12 different properties in the Northeast Albuquerque area I am sure that my preference will be La Ventana Apartments. The most notable difference to me was the way I was greeted and treated by the office staff of Jaqueline, Angela and Ray. I was shown various floor plans and informed of their commitment to keeping their residents content. They took the time to answer my many questions concerning apartment maintainence,parking and security. I am looking forward to leasing my apartment there in the near future.
Ray's The Best
As a new resident I accidently locked myself out of the garage with the car inside. When a locksmith could not be arranged for two days, Ray the maintenance supervisor took it upon himself to find a way to open it on his own accord. It was way outside his normal duties and got me out of a big jam. Thank you so much Ray and Kristen at the front desk for making this happen.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. I have owned my own home for 50 years and love the fact that any problems I encountered have been properly fixed in a prompt manner. Their efforts speak well of La Ventana Apartments. Keep up the good work.
Great maintenance staff
Reyes did a great job! My sink clogged up. He came by within minutes and got it fixed up SO quickly! It was up and running in no time at all. Then he cleaned up after himself and left the area cleaner than he found it. Great job!
